Get certified as a freediver
The SSI Freediver program is the best first step to take and certifies you to freedive with a buddy in open water to a depth of 20 meters. If you do not have time for our Freediver program, join the SSI Basic Freediver program and get certified to freedive safely with your buddy in a pool or confined water up to a depth of five meters.
You can upgrade easily to the Freediver certification at any time. If you love freediving, which we know you will, continue your journey with our freediving specialty programs and discover competitive freediving and more.

Aug 24, 2024The instructors Jeff and Kelly are amazing. Both in the medical field and Kelly is a general surgeon. Their level of expertise with the physiology of the breath hold and the mammalian diving reflex are impactful meaningful even for experienced divers. The two of them together creat a very safe and fun personalized teaching environment where I was able to improve my diving, get much more comfortable in the water, increase my bottom time, reach new depths and create new lifelong friends in the process. plan to sign up for their advanced free diving course as well. They personalize the education and training to each individuals goals and abilities.
